Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty needed help off the practice field on Sunday after injuring his right leg.Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Jeanty was diagnosed with a sprained ankle.It is unclear whether the sprain is a high- or low-ankle sprain, and Schefter said the Raiders are unsure how much time Jeanty will miss. However, it is not considered a long-term injury.The injury initially appeared serious, but the Raiders now can breathe easy.Jeanty, the No. 6 overall pick of the 2025 draft, is slated to be a focal point of Las Vegas’ offense in 2026 under new head coach Klint Kubiak. In 17 games as a rookie last year, Jeanty finished with 1,321 yards from scrimmage — 975 rushing, 346 receiving on 55 catches — with 10 total touchdowns.
