Raiders are expected to claim CB Darrell Luter off waivers

With the 1 p.m. ET deadline now passed, news is beginning to trickle out about waiver claims. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders are expected to add cornerback Darrell Luter, who was waived by the 49ers. Las Vegas has the No. 1 spot in line for waiver claims, which means the club will be awarded whatever player it requests from those let go as teams trimmed their rosters to 53 players. Luter, a fifth-round pick in 2023, appeared in all 17 games with three starts for the Niners last season. He finished the year with 28 total tackles, one pass defensed, and a fumble recovery.He’s appeared in a total of 27 games with three starts in his career.
