Rachel Dratch Brings “Long-Lost Spice Girl” Pumpkin Spice to MTV Video Music Awards Courtesy of Dunkin’

Rachel Dratch brought “Pumpkin Spice” to the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night. The actress-comedian debuted the character — the “long-lost sixth member” of the Spice Girls — earlier this month as part of Dunkin’ latest campaign in a spot that also featured Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton and Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell-Horner. On Sunday, Dratch and Bunton presented at the VMAs, which also featured a two-part sketch where she’s on a mission to get a Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Latter. In one segment, a backstage crew member addresses “Pumpkin Spice” as Dratch. The actress then shows (very humorous) ’90s-style magazines featuring her on the covers to prove her identity. For fans of her Saturday Night Live character Debbie Downer, there’s also a fun Easter egg in one of the segments. We won’t spoil the rest of the sketch. You can watch it for yourself below. The 2026 VMAs, which are taking place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, will air Sept. 27 (7:30-9:30 p.m. ET/4:30-6:30 p.m. PT) on CBS and MTV and stream on Paramount+ (Premium) in the U.S. It also will be available globally the next day on Paramount+ and MTV.
