Quarterback Connor Bazelak fell behind rookie Jalon Daniels on the Buccaneers’ depth chart this offseason and he’s now off the roster altogether. Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports that Bazelak is being waived as part of the team’s moves to get to the 53-player limit by Sunday afternoon’s deadline. Daniels started the Bucs’ final preseason game after making a push for the No. 2 job behind Baker Mayfield this summer. Jake Browning is the other quarterback on the roster in Tampa. Auman reports that the Bucs are also waiving running back Barika Kpeenu, tight end Kenny Fletcher, guard Nash Hutmacher, defensive tackle Travis Shaw, and linebacker John Bullock.
