Putin enlists blind, deaf & disabled Russians to ‘shoot down drones’ as desperate tyrant bends rules to feed war machine

VLADIMIR Putin has reportedly backed plans to enlist deaf, blind and other severely disabled Russians to shoot down drones over Moscow. Serious chronic conditions such as HIV also fall into the category, as does loss of limbs. Kremlin-backed war correspondent Yevgeny “Zhen” Poddubny proposed the plans at a meeting of Putin’s leading United Russia party. He claimed some “wounded and assigned Category D” volunteers were “really asking to be allowed, as an exception, to serve in regional units that defend facilities against drones”. Poddubny claimed they could carry out tasks in the combat army reserve including “defending the skies and destroying drones“. The desperate dictator replied: “Zhen, I support it.” If the plan comes into action it would see Cat D volunteers working to destroy drones targeting front line towns “from their own city, their own village, their own enterprise”, according to Kremlin krank Poddubny. And Russian teens recently received tactical training from Russian combat veterans before performing a twisted war game for the dictator. Camouflage-clad schoolgirls were seen navigating a mock battlefield in shocking footage. It comes as Putin is reportedly gearing up to unleash a 500,000-troop assault to “break the backbone” of the Ukrainian forces and “strike deep into Kyiv”. The people of Ukraine have “no other option” but to prepare for the coming horrors, MEP and retired general Pekka Juhani Toveri said. Toveri told The Sun: “Putin knows that the war isn’t going well. “The frontline is basically frozen – there’s been very little movement this year. “The challenge is to break the stalemate.” Ukrainian Leader Volodymyr Zelensky has said Putin is planning to draft over 300,000 new recruits to help pummel Ukraine’s defences and take the rest of Donetsk. Toveri said: “He will probably get about half a million guys, enough to break the backbone of the Ukrainian army. “And at the same time they will hit Ukraine with deep strikes.” Hundreds of thousands of people fled Russia after Putin decreed a partial mobilisation in 2022.
