In the other matches, Liverpool edged past Atlético Madrid 2-1, while Barcelona cruised past Feyenoord 5-1. Last season’s runners-up Arsenal secured a 1-0 win over Napoli. In tennis, there will be a new world No. 1 on Monday. Elena Rybakina reached the US Open semi-finals, securing the top spot in the rankings. In cycling, Matthew Brennan claimed his fifth stage win of the Vuelta at just 21 years old, becoming the youngest-ever rider to achieve the feat.
