COPS have launched an investigation after the “unexplained death” of a child close to a fishing lake. The youngster was found after emergency services were called to reports of a person in cardiac arrest. Midlands Air Ambulance was also sent to the scene as emergency crews raced to save the child. But tragically, the youngster could not be saved. Roads around the area were closed throughout the day as detectives began piecing together what had happened.
