The Ministry of Education has extended the application deadline from July 15 to August 15, giving candidates more time to submit proposals and complete formalities.The scheme aims to bring accomplished Indian-origin researchers, scientists, technologists and professionals working abroad to leading Indian institutions for high-impact research.WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE SCHEME?The PMRC Scheme is designed for Indian-origin researchers currently working with reputed overseas universities, laboratories, research institutions or industries.Applicants are divided into three categories:Young Research Fellows (YRF): Researchers with less than five years of post-PhD experience.Senior Fellows (SF): Researchers with five to less than 10 years of post-PhD experience.
