2 min readIf you’ve been waiting for a good time to upgrade your old vacuum, Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days could be your next best opportunity. Taking place October 6 and 7, the two-day sale event is expected to bring discounts across just about every category, including cleaning gear, with new sales dropping throughout the event. We’re seeing some decent discounts (upward of 40 percent) on upright, cordless stick, and robot vacuums, but there aren’t as many standout savings on editor-tested and recommended models. We expect that to change as the event gets closer, so we’ll be on the lookout for deeper markdowns and will update this list accordingly. For now, consider this your inside look at the best Prime Big Deal Days vacuum sales that we’ve come across, whether you’re after a powerful cordless stick model, need a dedicated pet hair cleaner, or a robot vacuum that can take care of daily messes for you.Prime Day Upright Vacuum DealsUpright vacuums offer strong suction power, unlimited runtime, large dustbin capacity, and long hoses for above-floor cleaning. This style of vacuum is a great option for deep cleaning carpets, and they’re versatile enough to work on hard surfaces like laminate and tile. Our best overall pick, the Shark AZ2002 Vertex, is discounted by 44 percent for Prime Big Deal Days. If you have different floor types (or pets) in your home, we recommend the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser DualBrush, which is marked down by 43 percent right now.Prime Day Cordless Stick Vacuum DealsUnlike upright vacuums, cordless stick vacuums offer a different level of versatility because they don’t rely on an outlet for power, so you can swiftly move between rooms and floor types without skipping a beat. The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder has a tangle-free brush roll, LED headlights, and a self-standing design, and you can snag it for just $150 right now. A reliable option for pet owners is the LVAC-300, and it’s on sale for 43 percent less than usual for Prime Big Deal Days.Prime Day Robot Vacuum DealsI never really got onto the robot vacuum train until I tested a model myself, the the Roborock Qrevo Series QV 35A. Performance impressed, with vacuum power being enough to pick up dirt and hair across floor types, while the mopping function offered a decent enough clean that I didn’t have to go back over any spots with a traditional mop. This model is discounted by 38 percent. If your home is mostly carpeted and you don’t need mopping functionality, the Shark AV2501S AI Ultra Robot Vacuum is a reliable option and is only $240.Best for Cleaning Under FurnitureAmber is a Reviews Editor with bylines on Popular Mechanics, Runner’s World, Bicycling, and Best Products sites.
