The official spokesperson for the Presidency of the Republic stated on his official Facebook page: “President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived safely today in the Indian capital, New Delhi, to participate in the 18th BRICS Summit.” The official spokesperson added that President El-Sisi was received upon his arrival at Palam Air Force Station airport in New Delhi by Sanjay Seth, Indian Minister of State for Defence; Air Commodore Vijay Rao, Commander of Palam Air Force Station; Ambassador Suresh Kumar, Joint Secretary for West Asia and North Africa at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs; Nisha Dhwal, Indian protocol officer; Ambassador Kamel Galal, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of India; and members of the Egyptian Embassy in New Delhi.
