A new premium hospitality space, known as the 1901 Club, has been added to the North Stand. It has resulted in the Amex Stadium’s capacity rising to 32,500 as the Seagulls prepare for their showdown with Aston Villa on the opening weekend of the 2026/27 season. More changes are in the pipeline after Brighton chiefs have continued looking to improve facilities. Plans have been made to expand the safe standing area to the lower rows of the North Stand. It comes after the plan was initially announced by the Premier League side in January. Construction work is scheduled to start during next month’s international break, meaning it will be ready for clashes in October.
