PREGNANT Too Hot To Handle star Emily Miller has shared a concerning health update, revealing her unborn baby has gone into ‘survival mode’ after a series of tests. The reality star, who is 36 weeks pregnant, explained that she will have to under a caesarean section, despite initially resisted doctors’ advice after one of her twin girls was found to be measuring small. Alongside the update, Emily shared a picture of her scratched legs after revealing she is also suffering from ICP, a pregnancy-related liver condition that can cause intense itching. She said: “My liver (ICP) and kidneys are both f**ked and according to the blood flow from my scan it’s indicating that baby girl is going into survival mode, where blood is only going to her heart and brain as supposed to anywhere else like her stomach – she has now gone down to 1st centile, which isn’t great.” As a result, Emily, who shared her twins’ gender in May, has been booked in for a C-section, which she said was “the safest option for all of us”. The 32-year-old added: “I’ve been very overwhelmed this last trimester and I’ve really tried to push through all the pain and sleepless nights but I do agree I think it’s time especially as babygirl is struggling too. But tbf I’ve never heard of a bad experience from a planned c section and hopefully they can sort out my old bodged scar. Her consultant urged her to have a C-section, but Emily, who had hoped for a natural birth, accused the doctor of being too “abrupt and harsh”. At the time, Emily claimed claimed the consultant was trying to “scare her into” undergoing the procedure. The TV personality said she told the consultant she had seen women on social media give birth to twins naturally and carry them to full term. She claimed the doctor “started laughing and said, ‘How about you get some real information,’ and started putting down websites for me to look at.” Emily has faced a difficult pregnancy and previously revealed that she had been rushed to hospital after her iron levels became “dangerously low” due to morning sickness. The TV star also shared the sad news that doctors believed she had initially been pregnant with triplets.
