Pralay announced: Ranveer-Kalyani's zombie thriller gets dystopian poster

Social media has been abuzz with a viral teaser poster of the upcoming post-apocalyptic zombie thriller Pralay, featuring actors Ranveer Singh and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles. Directed by Jai Mehta and written by Vishal Kapoor, the survival drama claims a multi-language pan-India release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. With director Jai Mehta and writer Vishal Kapoor credited alongside the tagline "IN CINEMAS 2028", the unverified poster capitalises on the buzz surrounding Ranveer Singh following Dhurandhar (2025) and Dhurandhar: The Revenge (2026), misleading fans into believing an official project announcement had been made.Recently, a viral video from Pralay showed Ranveer and Kalyani in a bleak, post-apocalyptic setting. The footage has sparked online buzz around Ranveer's turn in a zombie survival thriller. Dead leaves can be seen scattered across the ground, while several seemingly deserted cars in the background further hint at the film’s dystopian theme. The film reportedly went on floors last month and is said to be mounted on a massive budget of around Rs 300 crore.
