PPI develops digital euro operating platform for banks
The Digital Euro is issued as central bank money, similar to cash. Unlike bank money, which is held in current accounts at the respective commercial banks, the Digital Euro gets ist own accounts managed by the central bank at the DESP (Digital Euro Service Platform).
