While there are fans out there of Big Bad Beetleborgs and VR Troopers, Power Rangers was the one to really win that war, even among Saban's own properties and its competitors. Throughout the decades, Power Rangers has been part of everything from stage shows to film adaptations to video games, and much more. It's an enduring quality, especially when the stewards of the series are huge fans of the show that started it all. Due to a new announcement from Renegade, things are looking up for Power Rangers fans. It's entering a brand-new era very soon, with multiple official releases. A Power Rangers Game Mixes Things Up Custom image by Ana Nieves Recently, Renegade Game Studios held a stream to explain what was in the pipeline, and there's a lot to unpack. Dungeon Crawler Carl is getting dice loot packs, the Exodus RPG is getting a new reference book and accessories, Werewolf: The Apocalypse: Tribes of Gaia is getting a new player's guide for the Werewolf system, and several other games will be getting updates or expansions. But one of the most notable IPs Renegade has is Power Rangers, which also has a series of updates on its own. Renegade is no stranger to updating their games, and it looks like Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Power Rangers RPGs are all getting massive overhauls to suit the 5.5E ruleset. There's also a free conversion kit offered for fans who need it. To be clear, Power Rangers will arrive last of all three IPs, so keep that in mind. Here's everything we know at the moment: "We just revealed that a second edition RPG will be coming for the Transformers, G.I. There's More Coming For Power Rangers Fans That's not all the Power Rangers news that Renegade had to offer. In 2027, we're getting the Power Rangers Impossible Odds Dice Game, where you'll team up with other players to take on Chunky Chicken, Terror Toad, Goldar, and Knasty Knight. Using dice and power-ups, you'll fight Puttys on your way to the boss fight. This is a classic-era-tinted game, where you can pick a retro Ranger, but also utilize power-ups to manipulate your dice. It seems very similar to the co-op portion of Dice Throne, but for now, we're completely in the dark beyond a quick description and the 2027 release date. Power Rangers fans are used to waiting, but Renegade has been doing a ton of work for the IP ever since they acquired the license.
