£72m crypto-billionaire donations will make Reform ready to rule, says Farage

Nigel Farage has hailed two large donations to Reform UK, pledging his party will use the money to “fund the best research and policy department British politics has ever seen”. It comes as Reform has raised more than £86m in donations this year, mostly made up of two recent £36m donations – the first by crypto tycoon Ben Delo and the other by Christopher Harborne. Harborne also provided a £5m gift to Nigel Farage in 2024, which the Reform UK leader failed to declare before he was elected to the House of Commons. The incident triggered an investigation by the parliamentary standards watchdog.
