A SHAMELESS fiend has been pooing in pools across a Brit holiday hotspot with swimmers slamming the suspect as “unhinged”. Swimmers can be seen wading in the water just metres from the faecal matter. The first instance was spotted on Tuesday afternoon – but the pooing fiend reportedly struck again on Wednesday. The grim prank involves either defecating directly into a public pool or secretly putting faeces in a bag inside a swimsuit to release into the water. Following the disgusting discovery, lifeguards and park staff swiftly evacuated swimmers from both the adult and the children’s pool. “I’d make those responsible clean the toilets with their tongues”, fumed one local. Poo can transmit norovirus and bacterial infections like Salmonella – strains not killed off by chlorine. Investigators have not yet identified the turd enthusiasts – nor indicated how many people were responsible. The video caption explained: “It’s 4.33pm in the afternoon and some pig has just defecated in the pool and they’ve kicked us all out. “This isn’t AI, this is reality. If you’re at Caribe Aquatic Park you’ll have seen it. We’re all out of the pool.” One swimmer added: “Someone has taken a dump in the communal pool three times. You’d have to be seriously unhinged to do that.” Another guest added that the prank had happened again: “The incident that was reported on happened on Tuesday but on Wednesday it occurred again. I was there that afternoon.” If the suspect is identified, they can be slapped with £1,000 to £5,000 fines and a swimming pool ban. Theme park officials told local media in a statement: “The safety and well-being of our visitors is our top priority, and our team is trained and prepared to manage this type of situation with the utmost diligence and efficiency. “We rigorously applied all the health protocols established by current regulations and the Public Health Agency of Catalonia (ASPCAT). “Specifically, in the event of any detection and presence of faeces, vomit or other visible organic waste in the water, swimming is immediately prohibited until the situation is normalized after the corresponding protocol has been applied.” More than 5 million people visit Caribe Aquatic Park every year, making it the most visited holiday pools in Spain and the sixth most visited park in Europe.
