Popular restaurant announces closure of LAST remaining UK branch as it prepares to vanish from high street

A BELOVED restaurant is preparing to shutter its last remaining site, leaving fans devastated. The fusion diner first opened in Soho in London back in 2021, but will close for good by the end of the month. Don’t worry, we’re not finished. Sign up for the Money newsletter Thank you! “Thank you to everyone who came through, slurped a bowl, brought a friend, and made Ramo what it is.” The restaurant, which dishes up Filipino-Japanese fusion food, closed its first ever site in Kentish Town in 2024 after almost six years of serving customers. News of the closure has left customers heartbroken, with one sharing: “I’m always rooting for you guys to do well, so sad.” And a second added: “Noo why.” While another fan, cried: “I’m legit about to have a breakdown.” However, it appears it is not the end for the brand, with the owners sharing “this isn’t the last you’ll see of us.” Most read in Money Details remain unclear, but it offers a glimmer of hope for fans of the restaurant. It comes amid a challenging time for the British restaurant scene, with a number of chains closing for good.
