Popular Emmerdale couple split for good – and a devastating exit will follow

It was revealed recently that Vinny was driving his car while on the phone to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) prior to Jimmy smashing through Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) and Dawn Taylor’s (Olivia Bromley) wedding marquee. Because Vinny was distracted while speaking to Gabby, he failed to realise that his car had moved across the road. In order to prevent himself from hitting Vinny, Jimmy swerved his car, went into a field, and collided with the wedding tent. Jimmy died shortly after the crash, while Dawn lost her life later in hospital. To make this situation even worse, Vinny has also been charged after Nicola reported him to the police. Vinny needs all the support he can get right now, but tonight’s episode of the ITV soap confirmed that he isn’t going to get any from his boyfriend, Lewis. With Lewis and Nicola being best friends, there was no way he could be there for Vinny, who’s carelessness on the road is the reason Nicola’s life has been turned upside down.
