Politician, 38, who fathered child with own daughter, 12, tells court ‘I’m not a paedo’ as he’s jailed for sick abuse

A POLITICIAN who allegedly fathered a child with his own 12-year-old daughter has been jailed after telling the court “I’m not a paedo”. Appearing in the Dessau-Roßlau Regional Court on Monday, Holger gave a twisted excuse for his depraved actions. He said: “I’m not a paedophile. “It was a difficult time for me when the crime occurred. We’re a family of seven, living together in cramped conditions in 64 square metres. “I wanted to train as an IT specialist, but that didn’t work out.” His wife mourned the “terrible situation” but went on to make a shocking claim to German media. Speaking to Bild, she said: “It’s a terrible situation, but he remains the father of my five children and will come back to us after his release from prison.” Most read in The Sun The child – allegedly born of the daughter and her father – will be put up for adoption, the daughter’s mum revealed. She said: “My daughter and I have decided that we will put the little boy up for adoption.” He is currently living with a foster family. In a grim revelation, Holger formerly campaigned for a focus on family values for the SPD – Germany‘s centre-left Social Democratic Party. He used the slogan: “In my free time, I’m there for my family… I want attractive housing options, especially for young and large families.” The court has since found Holger guilty of abuse within his own family. He was sentenced to four years and three months in prison for aggravated sexual abuse of a child and incestuous intercourse. Due to the father’s confession, the daughter did not have to appear in court to testify. Last year, Germany was rocked by another case of incest. A 20-year-old man was accused of having sex with his older sister 21 times. Lucas K stood trial for allegations of incest and rape after handing himself in to police. The alleged abuser was sentenced to two years and nine months behind bars by Dresden Regional Court for the incest charges. Charges of rape were dropped after the court said they had serious doubts over the sex being non-consensual. Comment now
