Sekarbabu for three hours in connection with a case relating to clash between DMK members and functionaries of the TVK in the Harbour constituency during polling.The dispute involved TVK functionaries, including the party’s Harbour candidate Sinora Ashok, and members of DMK led by Mr. Sekarbabu. What began as a verbal altercation escalated into a scuffle and physical assault. The police said some TVK functionaries were injured in the clash.TVK functionary Muralidharan lodged a complaint with the North Beach police. Following an inquiry, police registered a case and issued summons to Mr. Sekarbabu, directing him to appear for questioning.
