A28-year-old man was found dead on a roadway in Crab Hill, St Lucy on Tuesday night after police received reports of gunshots in the area.The deceased has been identified as Shamar Michael Inniss, of Church Village, St Philip, and French Village, St Peter.An anonymous caller contacted The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) at about 9:25 p.m., reporting that several gunshots had been heard in the Crab Hill area. The caller also reported seeing a person wearing a winter coat and ski mask lying on the roadway, with a rifle nearby.Several police units were dispatched to the area, where they found Inniss’ lifeless body.A medical doctor was called to the scene and subsequently pronounced him dead.Lawmen are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist investigators to come forward.
