The party leader issued a late-night call for aid in his personal quest to replace Sir Keir Starmer in Thursday's Holborn and St Pancras by-election.Posting a lonely image from a housing estate he asked them to 'come campaign with us tomorrow', with polls suggesting he will lose to Labour's Sagal Abdi-Wali.Polanski has put more effort into his London campaign than his appearance at the party's annual conference in Brighton last weekend. He left after delivering a speech on Friday, having reportedly failed to get the whole thing cancelled to allow activists to help him in London instead. It also allowed him to be absent for the massively damaging vote to pass a 'Zionism is Racism' policy which has seen the Greens reported to the police.Last night it emerged that the Green Party member behind it has links to an al-Qaida terrorist serving jail time in the US.
