Sign in to your ScreenRant account Though the player base largely moves on to whatever the hot new releases is, Game Freak have historically been quite good about continuing to serve older games, for those who can't (or don't want to) get the new arrival. That has remained true throughout the release of Legends Z-A, and it's showing no signs of stopping in the near-future. If you do happen to still be playing Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, those releases are no exception, and there's still plenty going on to keep things interesting, if you've played through the base game. Now, the latest of those events is live, and there are plenty of challenges to get stuck into, and rewards to earn. As first reported by Player One, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet" is currently running new events throughout the Summer, bringing back the 7-Star Tera Raid Battle and Mass Outbreak format that players have previously used to increase their chances of rare catches. There will be four weeks of events running from August 7 through to September 3, and they will be focused around Glimmora, Annihilape, Farigiraf and Kingambit. Excitingly, every 7-Star Tera Raid Battle Pokémon can be battled multiple times across a single save file, but you can only catch the 'mon in question once. The first week features a 7-Star Glimmora Raid (Mightiest Mark) and Glimmet and Glimmora Mass Outbreaks (which grant increased shiny odds). From there, the breakdown of events is as follows: Mankey, Primeape, and Annihilape Event: Runs from August 14 to August 20. 7-Star Annihilape Raid (Mightiest Mark) and Mankey, Primeape, and Annihilape Mass Outbreaks (increased Angry Mark odds). Girafarig and Farigiraf Event: Runs from August 21 to August 27. 7-Star Farigiraf Raid (Mightiest Mark) and Girafarig and Farigiraf Mass Outbreaks (increased Intellectual Mark odds). Pawniard, Bisharp, and Kingambit Event: Runs from August 28 to September 3. 7-Star Kingambit Raid (Mightiest Mark) and Pawniard, Bisharp, and Kingambit Mass Outbreaks (increased Charismatic Mark odds). That's a grand total of eight different events for players to get involved in, which means it's probably one of the best ways to enjoy Pokémon while we wait for Winds and Waves. We should get a lot more information on the aforementioned Pokémon: Winds and Waves before the year is out, with most expecting that game to arrive towards the back end of 2027. Until then, there's plenty going on in the franchise as a whole, so it shouldn't feel like too long of a wait.
