The Pokémon Company and Game Freak just announced the release date for the second part of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass. The Dazzling Decorations expansion focuses on accessories and adds new cosmetics for Ditto and their Poképals. For instance, there are multiple adorable bows, including one modeled after Sylveon's, and sunglasses that let a certain turtle Pokémon relive his Squirtle Squad days. Beyond fashion, the DLC also comes with more creatures to befriend, including Doduo, Braixen, Skitty, and others that haven’t been revealed yet. Before beginning Dazzling Decorations, players will first have to complete certain quests, including “Raise the environment level!,” “Rebuild the Pokémon Center!,” and Drifloon’s “Find a doll!” request. This new part of the expansion pass will be available on Dec. 9, 2026. The first, Bubbly Basin, was released on Aug. 5, 2026. It added an entirely new underwater region and an impressive 52 new Pokémon, all water-themed (even if some, like Malamar, aren’t water types). In the DLC, Ditto learns a dive transformation from Manaphy and is tasked with helping improve the aquatic village Bubbly Basin. As for the upcoming third part of the DLC, it will add another town, suggesting it may be similar in scope to the meaty Bubbly Basin add-on. It’s set for a 2027 release date. Buying the Expansion Pass also nets a recipe for dynamic print blocks and wallpapers so you can cover your home Ditto's derpy face. In addition, players receive a code for 30 rare Pokémetal ingots. The Pokopia Expansion Pass goes for $34.99. How was Pokopia received? Pokémon Pokopia is a life sim that was released on the Nintendo Switch 2 in March. The game has had a glowing reception in just about every sense: It’s one of the highest-rated games of the year so far, with an 89 score on Metacritic, and sold over 5 million copies as of this August. It seems that, regardless of genre, the Pokémon’s popularity is evergreen.
