Pokémon Pokopia Celebrates Fall with Apple-Themed Event

It's time to start apple-picking so you can trade with Applin and build habitats for all of its friends. Pokémon Pokopia players spent the last couple of weeks playing tricks on Pokémon in exchange for candy. This allowed them to trade with Pumpkaboo and collect Halloween-themed items to decorate their island. That event, Pumpkaboo's Sweet Surprises, is officially over, and gamers only have a few days before the next event. Applin joins Pokémon Pokopia this November Image: The Pokémon Company The Apples for Applin event begins on Nov. 16 at 5 a.m. in-game time. To begin the event, all players need to do is make sure they update their game to version 2.0.1 and log in while connected to the internet. During the event, players will have to look for special apple trees that produce Syrupy Apples. Then, they can hand them to Applin at a Pokémon Center in exchange for event items. The apple-themed items can be placed to create habitats that will attract Applin and its evolutions: Appletun, Flapple, Dipplin, and Hydrapple. The event starts a few days before the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6; if you're planning to play it, you still have a few days to gather Syrupy Apples and collect all event items before its release. It's no longer possible to set your system clock forward in time to start events early. However, if you don't have time to participate in the event while it's live, you can still time travel backwards to play through it at any time —but you may just lose your weekly stamps, so beware. Events also repeat on a yearly basis, so it will be available again on Nov. 16, 2027. On Dec. 1 at 4.59 a.m. in-game time, the Apples for Applin comes to an end — just in time for the launch of the next part of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass. The Dazzling Decorations DLC becomes available on Dec. 9, 2026.
