Notably, Duraludon, which will make its Gigantamax debut during the Wild Area event, is weak against fighting-type moves, so this is a pretty good opportunity if you don't already have a Gigantamax Machamp. Dialga, which will be a Dynamax target during the event, is also weak against fighting-type moves. (Palkia isn't, though. You win some, you lose some.) Below we list the steps for the Pokémon Go Wild Area Gigantamax Machamp Timed Research. 'Go Wild Area: Gigantamax Machamp Power Up!' Timed Research steps The steps for the research are as follows: Explore 5 km (Gigantamax Machamp encounter) Catch a Pokémon on 2 different days (110 Machop Candy) Catch a Pokémon on 3 different days (600 Max Particles) Catch a Pokémon on 4 different days (45 Machop Candy XL) Catch a Pokémon on 5 different days (800 Max Particles) Reward: 30,000 Stardust and 10 Ultra Balls You'll have until the end of the day on Sunday, Nov. 15 to complete this research. While you should be able to complete the tasks just be playing the game, there are time gates for the tasks that give out Machop Candy and Max Particles. If you want those, you'll need to make sure to catch something every day for at least five separate days.
