Image: Scopely Explore As part of the "Mega Ascension" lead up to "Pokémon Go Fest 2026: Mega Finale" event, you'll be immediately tasked with picking between Mega Chesnaught, Mega Delphox, or Mega Greninja. Which should you pick? After picking your choice, you'll get a handful of candy from instantly-completed research in your event tab, and the Go Pass: Mega Finale will open up. Based on the event page for the "Mega Finale" event, these Pokémon will not be in Mega Raids during the weekend's event, so make sure you pick the one you want now, as we don't know when we'll be able to raid against and collect the other two you don't pick. Mega Chesnaught, Mega Delphox, or Mega Greninja? According to Dialgadex, the definitive answer here is Mega Delphox, which has much higher damage numbers than the other two. Additionally, Mega Delphox is the strongest fire-type attacker, outclassing its fellow fire-type Mega starters (Mega Blaziken and both Mega Charizard). Mega Chesnaught comes third to Mega Sceptile and Kartana as grass-type attackers, and Mega Greninja comes second to Primal Kyogre for water-type attackers.
