Pokémon's 30th anniversary has already been massive for fans, with The Pokémon Company pulling out all the stops to celebrate three decades of the beloved franchise. One of the year's biggest releases was the highly anticipated Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration set, which launched worldwide on September 16, featuring an all-foil lineup, returning classic cards, and 30 different Pikachu designs. Unfortunately, the excitement surrounding the release also highlighted a familiar problem for Pokémon collectors, with scalpers coming out of the woodwork from day one. Despite retailers introducing strict purchase limits and other measures to combat scalping, the release was plagued by overwhelming demand, with some stores experiencing enormous queues and almost immediate sellouts. Fortunately, Pokémon's anniversary celebrations are far from over, and fans have plenty of reasons to be excited about what's coming next, particularly those who have a soft spot for Eevee and its many beloved evolutions. More than 25 years after their original debut, Umbreon and Espeon are preparing to take center stage once again, with the release of Day & Night arriving in November and promising something longtime Pokémon collectors will want to keep an eye on. Pokémon's 30th anniversary celebrations are continuing in a big way all the way into the end of the year on November 6, 2026, with the release of the Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collection — Day & Night. This massive new release features two separate collector's editions centered around Espeon and Umbreon, two of Eevee's most beloved evolutions. Both versions will retail for $179.99 each, making them among the more expensive anniversary products released this year, although there's certainly plenty included to justify the price: 1 foil promo card featuring Pikachu ex 1 foil promo card featuring Espeon ex or Umbreon ex 1 playmat featuring Pikachu, Espeon or Umbreon, and more 65 card sleeves 1 deck box 1 metal coin featuring Espeon or Umbreon 6 damage-counter dice 29 Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs 1 Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Classic Collection booster pack A code card for Pokémon TCG Live The Day collection focuses on the Psychic-type Espeon, featuring vibrant artwork inspired by sunshine and daytime celebrations. Meanwhile, the Night collection showcases the Dark-type Umbreon, complete with a nighttime aesthetic and appropriately themed accessories. Both editions feature two special foil promo cards: one depicting either Espeon ex or Umbreon ex, alongside a Pikachu ex card with unique day or night-themed artwork designed by the legendary YOSHIROTTEN. They both include 29 booster packs from the 30th Celebration expansion, alongside an additional Classic Collection booster pack featuring three special etched cards inspired by the TCG's history. It's a particularly exciting inclusion for longtime collectors, with the Classic Collection celebrating the franchise's earliest cards and some of its most iconic designs. Beyond the cards themselves, each collection also includes a themed playmat featuring Pikachu and either Espeon or Umbreon, 65 card sleeves, a matching deck box, a collectible metal coin, six damage-counter dice, and a code card for Pokémon TCG Live. The accessories make both editions appealing to active players, and those who are looking for more anniversary memorabilia. Both versions are scheduled to arrive at the Pokémon Center and participating retailers on November 6, although securing one could prove challenging. Best Buy, for example, has listed the collections with a one-per-order restriction, with customers receiving either the Day or Night version at random rather than being able to select their preferred Pokémon. Considering the issues surrounding the initial 30th Celebration launch, there's every reason to believe these Ultra-Premium Collections will be a target for scalpers. For fans of Umbreon and Espeon, however, they could easily become two of the most sought-after Pokémon releases of the entire anniversary year.
