(File photo from PNP) MANILA, Philippines — The preparation of the Philippine National Police (PNP) for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s State of the Nation Address (Sona) is now over 90 percent complete, with the agency finalizing its security measures and coordination. Allen Rae Co said the police force has already conducted a series of meetings with relevant government agencies for this purporse. Article continues after this advertisement Co reiterated that around 20,000 police personnel will be deployed for the event, which will be held at the session hall of the Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City on July 27, the last Monday of July. According to the PNP official, authorities are preparing for all possible scenarios to ensure peace and order before, during and after the president’s Sona. Co added that security plans may still be adjusted, depending on the situation.
