PM Modi pushes work-from-home, cutting down foreign travel amid global crisis

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, May 10, urged citizens to adopt “nationally responsible” lifestyle choices amid rising oil prices and the ongoing West Asia crisis. Addressing a meeting in Hyderabad, he called for reduced fuel use, greater use of public transport and support for local products. Mr. Modi also suggested reviving COVID-era practices like work-from-home, virtual meetings and online conferences, while asking people to avoid unnecessary foreign travel and gold purchases.
