REKHA GUPTA MONITORS RESCUE OPERATIONIn a post on X, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said she was at the incident site in Satya Niketan, closely monitoring the rescue operation along with concerned authorities. She said teams from the DDMA, NDRF, Delhi Fire Services, Delhi Police, MCD, CATS and Civil Defence were working in coordination on a war footing to rescue those trapped and provide immediate assistance to affected families. The adjacent building was also vacated as a precautionary measure. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta posted on X after the Satya Niketan building collapse. KEJRIWAL CALLS COLLAPSE 'TRAGIC AND ALARMING'AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal described the Satya Niketan building collapse as "extremely tragic and alarming" and urged the government to take large-scale measures to ensure public safety. In a post on X, Kejriwal said he hoped those trapped under the debris would be rescued safely and quickly. He also alleged that government negligence had contributed to several such accidents in Delhi."The government must wake up from its slumber. There is a need to take large-scale action to ensure the safety of citizens," Kejriwal said.AAP MP Atishi also expressed grief over the collapse and called for urgent relief and rescue efforts."The news of the building collapse at Satya Niketan in Delhi's Moti Bagh is extremely heartbreaking and alarming.
