Created by Vince Gilligan, the Apple TV sci-fi series is led by Rhea Seehorn as a disillusioned romantasy author who finds her life changed when the world is taken over by an extraterrestrial virus joining them to a peace-loving hive mind, pushing her to find others like her and reverse the effects. Now, after Vince Gilligan's previous update on the show's production timeline, Forbes reports that Pluribus season 2 has officially begun filming in New Mexico, beginning on November 1. The report further indicates that production is going to run for 225 days, giving it a tentative wrap date of June 14, 2027, and with the previous season requiring 14 months of post-production, the show's release timeline is now slated for August 2028, just under three years after the Apple TV show debuted.
