Based on Gilligan's comments, writing the actual scripts will take less time than nailing down season 2's overall story. This timeline seems more viable based on where the writing is at now, although cameras likely won't start rolling until the later part of fall. Gilligan did say after the season 1 finale that the series would not return on an annual basis but would come back around the same time of year. Season 1 premiered in November 2025, so a late 2027 debut would deliver on that promise.
