PlayStation Plus subscribers are constantly being treated to an array of free bonuses, additional downloads, and new games. It's a great perk of the platform, one that makes it feel that little bit more worthwhile, especially if the impressively stacked library of available games doesn't quite cut it for you. These perks are handed out at fairly frequent intervals, ensuring that subscribers are constantly bombarded with new downloads and features they can enjoy. Naturally, alongside the recently discovered PS Plus price cuts, this helps convince users psychologically to continue subscribing, if only for one more month. Well, November's free bonus could very well do that for many subscribed to the PlayStation Plus Extra and above tiers. While it won't tickle the fancy of every subscriber, it is certainly an appealing prospect to fans of one of the biggest gaming franchises around: Assassin's Creed. With PlayStation Plus' November lineup announced and partially delivered, fans are already enjoying a wide array of exciting new titles and fun additions to the service. However, as an added bonus, they can also enjoy a brand-new update to the critically acclaimed Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Available to everyone subscribed to PS Plus Extra and above, this update transforms Assassin's Creed Valhalla by introducing several hugely requested features years after it originally launched. The brand-new AC Valhalla update affects the game as a whole, but as it is available on PlayStation Plus for no extra cost, subscribers will be able to test out the update without needing to rush out and buy a copy of the game. The update is rather substantial, especially considering the fact that support for Valhalla was believed to have ended years ago, with its most notable addition being the inclusion of a New Game + mode, something that fans have been requesting for years. Additionally, this new Assassin's Creed Valhalla update adds new items, an improved progression system, several quality-of-life changes, PSSR for PS5 Pro, new achievements and trophies, an Animus Hub update, and additional premium character packs. It's the kind of update that understandably draws people back to the game, something that, as aforementioned, is rather easy to do for those on PlayStation Plus Extra and above tiers. Of course, there have been plenty of amazing games added to PS Plus in November, but perhaps they can wait as you start a New Game + save in AC Valhalla. Of course, Assassin's Creed Valhalla could leave PlayStation Plus at any time. It was first added to the service in 2022, and left later that year, before being added back in 2024. While it appears to be a constant fixture of the platform, now, especially with this new update, may be a good time to finally play the 100+ hour-long RPG if you haven't already. If you already have and long since sold your copy, its availability on PlayStation Plus makes it an easy title to quickly boot up in order to see what the new update has to offer.
