Tickets must be purchased through the official air show website, https://www.clevelandairshow.com/ticketing/, along with a parking pass. Check for availability and directions. This is always a spectacular show, and great weather contributes to all the fun. Look up and enjoy the festive show! Speaking of fun shows, St. Paul Lutheran Church, 276 E. Bagley Road in Berea, will sponsor its fourth annual Classic & Vintage Car Show from 3 to 6 p.m. Aug. 30. It’s free to attend, but there’s a $15 fee if you decide to enter a vehicle for the competition. And Grand Pacific Junction is staging a vintage marketplace from noon to 5 p.m. Aug. 30 at 8112 Columbia Road in Olmsted Falls. There will be food trucks and more. Rain or shine. Speaking of vintage finds, Tiffany kept the Art Glass collectors in tow with its revival of irridescents and swirls, creating an ambience everyone loved! Early pieces were not signed, but sported a paper label. Needless to say, they carried such fanciful designs that a label was not necessary -- until the competition became relevant. Then, Louis C. Tiffany -- or L.C. Tiffany -- Favrile appeared on pieces, as well as the initials L.C.T. to distinguish the Favrile glass. It always helps to have reference books on hand for further inspection. Steuben was another great competitor. They created Aurene in 1904, while Victor Durand also competed in the iridescent category. Hi Yenke Peddler, I have a small cherry blossoms porcelain dish from Haviland, France, with a backstamp associated with the family, and dishes to match. What is the value for this small service piece? R.R. Hi Rebecca, Your great tableware is a French favorite, as all Haviland is quite popular. The little presentation dish would be valued at $30 for its dainty, gold-rimmed appeal. Classy! If you have an item for evaluation, send a clear picture with history to Yenke Peddler, Brenda Yenke, P.O. Box 361633, Strongsville, Ohio, 44136. You may also email photos and information requests for Brenda to evaluate at kenyenke@aol.com.
