While declining immediate suspension of the Chief Election Commissioner based on newspaper reports, the court demanded official records and file notings to examine whether decisions complied with statutory unanimity or majority mandates. The bench noted that any established unlawful actions could face consequences, including annulment, amid growing legal debates over voting rights and voter roll integrity.
