13.5/20Updated October 26, 2026,first published 7:00pmPop-up pizzeria that does minimalist and maximalist in equal measure.Just when you thought things were getting too serious for The Goodlife hospitality group – the growing force behind Terra, Recess Coffee and Bar Outro – they throw open the doors at Bistro Officina and ferry you out a Michaelangelo’s Pepperoni, the crust showered with parmesan, a can of whipped cream riding shotgun. Ppffssssht! Overload it, swipe it up, dip the crusts in jalapeno mayonnaise. How about a Big Mac pizza? A freezer cynarita – Cynar, fino sherry, apricot and grappa – served through a hole in the coolroom? There’s plenty of levity here, from the toppings to 80s the automotive decor of the warehouse space, but this is no gimmick. That leopard-spotted crust is 48-hour fermented sourdough. The wood-oven is raging. The surf and turf brings together vodka sauce, ’nduja and prawn, and there’s a whole set of classics, including a killer Margherita that are all about balance and restraint. Pick your lane, match it with a macerated Das Juice, try the tiramisu, leave happy.Good to know: The building is scheduled for redevelopment, so Officina is here for a good time, not a long time.Good Food reviews are booked anonymously and paid independently.
