Pixel Watch update adds Google’s new 3D emoji

Google’s latest Pixel Watch software updates have also transitioned the entire lineup over to the new 3D emoji design also live on Pixel phones in Android 17. Google launched its 3D emoji as a refresh to the entire catalog, adding more life and character to each design as the company detailed in a recent post. Fittingly, they’re also now showing up on Pixel Watch. The latest September update (which carries the August 2026 security patch) brings 3D emoji to older Pixel Watch models, as they were already available on Pixel Watch 5.
