There are three layers to this continent-sized expansion, and 12 new biomes to explore. A game-sized expansion in itself, Snail Games promises more than 200 hours of gameplay from Terracrypt in addition to the hundreds of hours the base game already provides. It’s more than just the new subterranean backdrop that’s going to make Terracrypt feel more like a sequel than an expansion. In addition to its new campaign, new world, and new tech, there are 80 creatures that call the DLC home, which can’t be found in the base game.
