‘Pig-headed’ Man Utd flop told he ‘can only improve’ by manager after dismal Serie A display

Then there were some situations where he struggled, and he became too stubborn with certain decisions, but he needs to remain calm and relaxed. “He has already scored and can only improve.” He also reportedly told off Hojlund for being “pig-headed” during the match, with the legendary Italian manager demanding less stubbornness from the Dane. Hojlund joined the club on a permanent deal from United this summer after an impressive loan spell in Naples last term. He notched 16 goals in 2025/26 under Antonio Conte and has two this campaign under new manager Allegri.
