A man who was shot dead in west London on Friday evening has been named and pictured for the first time. Metropolitan Police were called to the scene after multiple shots had been heard by members of the public.Officers attended alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, but Mr Davidson was pronounced dead at the scene.Detectives believe the shooting took place while dozens of people, including children, were attending a memorial gathering nearby.It is believed around 40 or 50 people were present at the time of the shooting. Police are now appealing to anyone with information to come forward. Det Ch Insp Brian Howie, who is leading the investigation, said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of a man whose life was taken in a senseless act of violence."We understand a large number of people had gathered for a memorial service and what should have been a time to come together in remembrance has instead left a family devastated."We believe between 40 and 50 people, including children, were present when this incident occurred.
