Pics: Nayanthara-Vignesh's twin sons turn four with a roaring birthday bash

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan have shared glimpses from the fourth birthday celebrations of their twin sons, Uyir and Ulag, with pictures showing the family at a jungle-themed party. From the decor to the cakes, the celebrations appeared to be planned on a grand scale, with plants, trees and animal details setting the mood for the bash.The actor-filmmaker couple posted a series of photographs from the birthday party. In the first image, Nayanthara and Vignesh are seen posing with their sons and holding them close, while several cakes are placed in front of them against a backdrop filled with jungle-inspired dcor.The next set of pictures offered a closer look at a two-tier birthday cake decorated with animal figurines and other jungle-themed elements. Another picture also showed glimpses of a Black Panther-themed cake and an Avengers-themed cake.A day earlier, Nayanthara and Vignesh had shared a video of Uyir and Ulag dancing energetically. Along with it, they posted a note expressing their gratitude for their sons. It read, “The happiness, the blessing, the meaning, the music, the vibe, the emotion, the Uyir and the Ulag of our life (red heart) happy birthday to U 2! #Uyir #ulag the heart beats of our lives (sic).” They added, “Every minute, every second amma & dada thank God for blessing us with U2 (red heart emoticons) love you 2 (red heart emojis) (sic).”Nayanthara and Vignesh welcomed their twin baby boys through surrogacy in 2022.More about the couple The family update comes amid a busy phase for the couple.Recently, Nayanthara and Vignesh hosted double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu and her husband Venkata Datta Sai in Chennai.Sharing pictures from the evening, Sindhu wrote, “Beautiful evening. You walk in as friends, talk about life, love and everything in between, and somehow leave feeling like you’ve known each other forever (sic).”She added that Chennai had always felt like home, and after the evening, it felt like she had “a little more family” waiting for her there. Nayanthara replied, “Love n onlyyyy love for u guys (sic),” while Vignesh wrote, “Toooo sweeet u two. Lots of love from us always (sic).”On the work front, Nayanthara will next be seen in Sundar C’s devotional thriller Mookuthi Amman 2, a sequel to the 2020 film Mookuthi Amman. The film is set to release on November 6 during Diwali.
