Phoebe Bridgers Is Throwing Lost Weekend Listening Parties in Planetariums

In partnership with Spotify, the “Lost Boys” singer-songwriter has announced special listening parties for Lost Weekend that will take place inside planetariums, from August 10 through the LP’s release date of August 14.Each listening session pairs Lost Weekend with one of two original visual accompaniments: a custom dome show, designed by night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi, or an immersive laser show designed by Laser Fantasy. All listening events are phone- and camera-free, with devices being secured in Yondr pouches upon arrival and returned to attendees after they leave the planetarium dome.Fans in the United States, Canada, Ireland, England, Scotland, France, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand can check it out in person at over 40 different locations. Multiple screenings will be available at each location, notes a press release.Next month, Bridgers goes on her massive Lost Tour. In the midst of that, she will also appear on the silver screen as a cast member of Primetime, a new A24 movie directed by Lance Oppenheim and starring Robert Pattinson that’s based on Chris Hansen’s infamous 2000s TV program To Catch a Predator.
