Some of those products include new Festavia lights and a camera for Hue Sync. Sure enough, the company has finally announced its next slate of lighting solutions. In addition to the new smart lights, Philips Hue is also giving users a highly requested feature.Backup and restore Starting with the new feature, Philips Hue announced that it is previewing a backup and restore function. With backup and restore, users of the Hue Bridge and Bridge Pro will be able to back up their settings to the Hue cloud. That means you’ll now be able to save settings, accessories, rooms, zones, scenes, automations, and more in case anything happens. This is something that many users have been wanting for years.The brand states that restoring saved setups will initially be available to Bridge Pro users. According to HueBlog, the backup will stay stored in the cloud for up to one year. The backup will need to be performed manually, and only one backup can be stored per Bridge at a time. However, your backup can be restored on either the same Bridge or a different one.New Philips Hue light products Today’s news also includes the launch of several new items. Here is every smart light that’s mentioned in the announcement: Play strip light portfolio: Includes the gradient strip light and gradient strip light pro. Both will be available on September 15, starting at €99.99 (~$115). Wall Light Module: The module is compatible with Nanoleaf Shapes panels. Availability opens up today, and it will start at €39.99 (~$46). A starter kit will also be available in select markets for €199.99 (~$231). Liane 360-degree rope light: The rope light will be available in Europe, the UK, and North America starting today for €399.99 (~$464). Signe Pendant, Pendulum, and Pole: These items will be available this month in Europe, starting at €349.99 (~$406). North American availability will follow in November. Festavia Curtain, Net, and Icicle: Availability opens on September 3, starting at €229.99 (~$267).
