Still, I’m sure Paramount didn’t want audiences thinking that Hardy was leaving the series after debunking reports that he was fired from set. Season 2 will find the Harrigans “[struggling] to show a unified front as rising rivals threaten their fractured criminal empire,” according to Paramount. “Harry Da Souza, their street-smart and formidable ‘fixer,’ must walk a dangerous tightrope when tensions within the family intensify,” the logline continues. “As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy.”It all couldn’t have lain too heavily on the actor’s back, because Tom Hardy also just released a rap album with former Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck under the alter ego Frankie Pulitzer. Hardy recites passages from Richard III on one song while using the Bane voice from The Dark Knight Returns. So, I’d say that amount of wacky fun means that it’s all water under the bridge now.
