Petition to Keralam Governor for action against Youth Affairs Minister O.J. Janeesh

BJP State president Rajeev Chandrasekhar. A petition from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president Rajeev Chandrasekhar, MLA, seeking action against Minister for Youth Affairs O.J. Janeesh in connection with Youth Congress activists blocking the motorcade of Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to Kollam and waving black flags was submitted by the BJP representatives to Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Saturday.The petition pointed out that the incident was a serious security lapse. With Mr. Janeesh, who is also the Youth Congress president, himself stating that the protest was held on his directions and he was responsible for it, the conspiracy behind the incident and the Minister’s role in it should be investigated, the BJP said.The Minister’s actions were a violation of oath of office and of the Constitution, the petition said, seeking the Governor’s intervention in the matter of the Minister continuing in office.BJP national executive member P.K.
