Shafi Jan says successful rally shows public trust in PTI Peshawar rally kicks off 'free Imran' drive PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Information and Public Relations Minister Shafi Jan on Thursday described the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's rally in Peshawar as the formal launch of the movement for the release of party founder and chairman Imran Khan. He said the gathering reflected the overwhelming confidence of the public, particularly the youth, in Imran Khan and his nominated Chief Minister Sohail Afridi. "This rally will prove to be a significant milestone in the struggle for Imran Khan's release," the minister stated. Shafi Jan noted that the large-scale participation by the people of K-P and PTI's young workers had once again demonstrated that Imran Khan remains the most popular political leader in the country. He emphasised that the demands presented by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi in his address at the rally fall entirely within the framework of the Constitution and the law. The minister insisted that justice must be ensured for both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi without delay, as timely access to justice is their fundamental right.
