Instead of stopping at a safe distance or waiting for the animal to move away, they continued driving towards it.The car moved closer to the elephant as they repeatedly pressed the horn, seemingly attempting to scare the animal away with the vehicle and the loud sound. Even after reaching dangerously close to the elephant, the driver continued honking instead of backing away or maintaining a safe distance. The elephant, however, didn't react aggressively and eventually walked away from the road, preventing what could have turned into a dangerous confrontation.The video’s caption warned that approaching wild animals in such a manner could have serious consequences. It stated that honking at an elephant and moving a vehicle towards it could make the animal feel threatened and trigger an aggressive response.
