Pebblebee launches bag tags and pet collar IDs to go with your Find Hub trackers

Pebblebee, known for its Android Find Hub / Apple Find My trackers, has just launched some new battery-free ID tags that help you recover lost bags, as well as give your pets a means of identification. Based on its Link QR code system introduced in 2025, Pebblebee has two new products now on sale. The first is the “Link Bag Tag,” a simple QR code that routes through Pebblebee’s network to help you recover lost items. This is specifically designed for luggage, with a TSA-friendly design, tamper-evident design, and the same battery-free, universal support as Link stickers. You can customize the page people land on, but it always includes needed information, as well as a way to privately communicate with whoever found your item, even if you don’t want to share a phone number or email address. You’ll get a 5-pack for $13. Pebblebee also has a new QR tag for pets, called a “Collar ID.” The backbone of this is the same. You put the tag on your pet’s collar, set up the backend, and then someone can scan the code to help you reunite with a lost pet. The tag here is much more durable, with Pebblebee saying it is “chew-resistant,” as well as being waterproof. The tag measures 1.26-inch x 1.73-inch. Within the Pebblebee app, you can mark a pet’s “Collar ID” as “lost,” which can also include a last-seen date and instructions for anyone who finds the pet and scans the code. It also automatically puts your pet’s info on local pet registries, including the name and picture you use in the Pebblebee app. Once someone finds your pet, they can chat with you through Pebblebee’s service, no phone number trades required. Pebblebee Collar ID is $14.95 per ID. Neither of these can replace an active tracker like the ones Pebblebee sells for Android Find Hub and Apple Find My, but they do serve as great alternatives, or even companions in the case of the bag. You can still throw a Clip into the bag, for instance, and have the QR code as a backup if the battery dies or if someone other than the airline tracks down your bag.
